Architecture Working Group
Housed in the Architecture Laboratory at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology and sponsored by CMRS-CEGS, the Architecture Working Group brings together faculty and doctoral students across campus and beyond who work on histories of architecture. Topics range from design and construction to larger critiques of the built environment and its embodied experiences, with a special focus on practices from the ancient and early modern periods across the globe. This interdisciplinary group meets for lecture presentations, informal discussions, shared readings, and workshops.
For past lectures and events organized by this working group, see the following webpage. Doctoral students interested in participating should contact Kevin Torres-Spicer (Art History) and Syon Vasquez (Archaeology) for more information.
