The CMRS Center for Early Global Studies (CMRS-CEGS) is a sponsor of this year’s LA Escena theater festival. This upcoming festival of Hispanic classical theater, LA Escena, is organized by Diversifying the Classics at UCLA. The festival is back this year with brand new shows, online and also in-person at UCLA.
This year’s festival runs from September 12-18 and includes performances by award-winning Spanish theater companies Nao d’Amores and Colectivo Állatok, a performance by the UCLA Early Music Ensemble, a family-friendly puppet show from Dragoncillo Puppet Theater, and new adaptations from the popular Golden Tongues series.
