A Journal for Manuscript Research
Manuscripta, published under the auspices of the UCLA CMRS Center for Early Global Studies, features articles, notes, and reviews in global medieval and early modern manuscript studies. The journal focuses on the material aspects of the production, distribution, reception, and transmission of premodern manuscripts, covering topics such as paleography, codicology, illumination, reading and literacy, textual editing and transmission, library history, catalogues, and more.
