Fall 2026 or Winter 2027 CMRS-CEGS Methodology Seminar
Proposals are being accepted from CMRS-CEGS faculty members for a CMRS-CEGS Research Methodology (LAMAR) Seminar for Fall 2026 or Winter 2027. A graduate-level UCLA class focusing on methodology for research in the area of late antique, medieval, and Renaissance studies. The methodology seminar is transdisciplinary in intent and would include one to two faculty from UCLA and two outside faculty. The Methodology/LAMAR Seminar fulfills one of the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Global Medieval Studies.
Proposals should include a description, no longer than a thousand words, of:
- (a) the seminar topic;
- (b) the quarter it would be offered; and
- (c) a budget estimating expenses (maximum $7,000).
