Students

About 125 UCLA faculty members in 24 different academic departments and programs specialize in some aspect of medieval and/or Renaissance studies. The Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies supports the research and teaching activities of these faculty members who teach approximately 75 classes each quarter. We provide a listing for all classes containing content that pertains to our study areas. Each quarter we update our listing of graduate and undergraduate classes.

CMRS also supports UCLA students by offering awards and fellowships, sponsoring an annual CMRS Seminar, bringing Distinguished Visiting Scholars to UCLA, publishing the graduate student journal Comitatus, and presenting a full calendar of scholarly events (lectures, symposia, and conferences) that students may attend free of charge.
